War has not spared anything even children’s equipments. During blockade time, instead of pacifying her baby with a candy, a mother would give her child a crumble of bread.

“We were trying to find a way to alleviate the pain of hunger, and we were working to find any food that might do the job” said one of the exiled women from the besieged al-Fawa area,

“We used to say the phrase ‘Bread so not to get dead’ for any type of food which helps us to survive “she said and resumed saying “I mean to survive the blockade”
